Cameron Gale is a partner with Bereskin & Parr LLP and a member of the Electrical & Computer Technology practice group.
Cameron’s practice focuses on drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of high technology industries, in particular in the electrical, computer and software fields. Cameron has prepared and filed patent applications relating to telecommunications, computer networks, digital signal processing, data encryption, image and data processing, adaptive control systems, and other technologies.
Cameron also provides advice on other aspects of patent and technology law, including intellectual property procurement and enforcement, patentability opinions, infringement opinions, and freedom to operate assessments.
Cameron received the J. Edward Maybee Memorial Prize from the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada for having achieved the highest overall mark in the Patent Agent Qualifying Examinations as well as the Marie Morency Memorial Prize for obtaining the highest mark on the drafting portion of the Examination.
Cameron holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from McGill University.
