William Audet is a student at Bereskin & Parr LLP. His practice focuses on trademarks, copyright, regulation and litigation.
In 2018, William graduated from the joint LL.B./J.D. program at the Université de Sherbrooke with a specialization in common law and transnational law. He is currently completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.). His thesis focuses on copyright protection of artificial intelligence systems and works generated by them.
During his academic career, William has held several positions as a research and teaching assistant in intellectual property law. During his studies, he was also involved as a volunteer with a number of organizations and founded a web-based self-help platform for the student community at the Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Law.
