About Mohamed

Mohamed attended Queen’s University where he pursued his interest in intellectual property law by volunteering with the school’s Tech Transfer office and sitting as the co-president of the Queen’s Intellectual Property Club. While in law school, Mohamed received a course prize in Constitutional law and a Dennis Marshall Contribution Award.

Prior to law school, Mohamed completed his Master’s thesis on the application of CRISPR gene editing technologies for the treatment of a hereditary neurological disorder.

Mohamed now applies his legal and scientific experience to his work at Bereskin & Parr LLP, focusing primarily on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the life science and biotechnology spaces.

Outside of work, Mohamed passes the time by improving his cooking, listening to music, and exercising.
