About Kimberly

Kim is an articling student in the firm’s Engineering & Technology practice group. Kim’s practice focuses on prosecuting patent applications for a wide range of cutting edge technologies.

Kim has experience working as a biomedical engineer in diagnostic platform development and RF surgical tool design. Kim has published award-winning research on the gendered role confidence of students specializing in artificial intelligence.

Kim was the first place winner at the 2019 Canadian Engineering Competition for Engineering Communications. As part of the University of Toronto Aerospace Team, Kim was the lead payload microfluidics designer on Canada’s first fully student-funded and student built satellite, launched in November 2023.

Kim is also passionate about about fibre art and design.
