Canadian Intellectual Patent Office (CIPO) Enriches Online Canadian Patents Database
June 15, 2015
The Canadian Intellectual Patent Office (CIPO) has unveiled an enhanced Canadian Patents Database (CPD) which allows access to a wide range of patent-specific documents. Users can now quickly access and download documents in PDF format from the prosecution history of all publicly available Canadian patent application and granted patents. As the CPD website notes, there are more than 2,220,000 patent documents now available for searching, retrieval and study. This additional information allows Canadian and international innovators, clients and agents to review comprehensive information on Canadian patent documents.
