Bereskin & Parr Participates in the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS
August 27, 2014
On Wednesday, August 27th, employees at Bereskin & Parr took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS.
In response to being challenged by Managing Partner, Micheline Gravelle, many Bereskin & Parr partners, associates, students and support staff gathered to support the cause and help raise awareness for ALS.
ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), is a progressive neuromuscular disease in which nerve cells die and leave voluntary muscles paralyzed. Up to three Canadians die every day of the disease. Many of the employees of the firm know someone who has experienced ALS first hand, making the cause that much more meaningful.
